Thank you! I’m so glad it’s been helpful!
Obviously there’s a lot to sort out and prep + pack, but most important for your success is understanding why you’re doing it, what you want out of it, and how you’re going to get through the whole year. It’s much harder than a vacation, and it’s one of those “marathon not a sprint” situations for sure.
But it can also be wonderful. I love my Battuta family so much and see them as often as I can.
I am backlogged on posts I’ve intended to write about the end of Remote Year, but hopefully my other posts here on Medium are helpful.
Also, I cowrote a book (The Digital Nomad Survival Guide) with someone from my group on how to become a digital nomad — and it should be on sale for $2.99 for the next week on Amazon starting at noon PST today! Great time to buy ;)
Search Amazon for “digital nomad” and it should be the first thing you see (not linking because sometimes it gets weird depending on which country / store you’re in).
You can read more about it here:
LMK if you have any questions!
